Gentle stories about big feelings

Meet Emma and her loyal little dog Ferdie. In every story, Ferdie sits quietly beside her, offers one small nudge, and Emma finds her own way to run free.

For grown-ups

Written by a psychotherapist and hypnotherapist who supports children's emotional wellbeing. Each book ends with a short note for parents, carers and teachers, with simple ideas to try together and questions to ask after reading.

Three small ideas, in every story

Match her stillness.

Ferdie doesn't fuss or tell Emma what to do. He sits close and waits.

One small invitation.

A gentle nudge towards the window, the edge of the blanket, a patch of sunlight. Emma chooses.

A joyful release.

Every story ends in movement: "Come on Ferdie, let's run free."

These are gentle stories, not therapy or medical advice.

Breathe with Ferdie

Short, calm videos for kids. Breathe in as the star glows, out as it softens, just like Ferdie.

Grown-ups, please watch with your child.
